Jason Voorhees is the multi-homicidal star of the Friday the 13th horror film series, a twelve-part series of the slasher genre so far. The action takes place at Crystal Lake, referring to the "Crystal Lake" summer camp where the historic saga of the film Friday the 13th takes place. Thus, in 1957, a disabled child named Jason Voorhees, who was constantly being persecuted by the other children who mocked his mental disabilities and his hydrocephalus, drowned in this lake. Jason falls into the lake water drowning to death because he couldn't swim. This serial killer characterized by wearing a hockey mask and usually armed with a machete. Its main feature is that it becomes easily irascible, both because of its own efforts and because of the amount of things its victims or enemies try to do to stop it; this can be seen in the frequent strong, choppy breathing that often accompanies an angry person, in the way he claims (slowly, holding back) after being attacked, and in the sometimes excessive violence or physical cruelty it displays in his attacks or murders.
