Please print two pieces and screw them together with M4 screw and nuts. Put a spring scale with the hook on one side and the 1.75mm filament is clamped right in between the two parts. Then you can get your extruder pulling the filament in and read the force in Newton (or kg whereas 1kg has the equivalent of 10N) from the scale until it slips. On my Vellemann Vertex K8400 I changed the extruder and gear to an MK7 type. Therefore the initial force from 45N (4,5kg) was improved to more than 70N (7kg).
