The filament detector on the Hictop Prusa I3 is positioned such that the filament is liable to snag and the printer cannot be left unattended. This revision of the standard fit moves the detector to the extruder mechanism and incorporates a filter to clean the filament just prior to extrusion. The limit switch is the supplied item. Although the two M4x6 screws supplied to attach the left top linear bearing are usable, they are too short and I have replaced with two M4x10 screws.
