I've had excellent experiences with these filament clips! However, I encountered some challenges getting my 3mm (measured exactly as 2.90mm) filament through the hole due to its tight size fit. I overcame this issue by using a #32 drill bit and manually enlarging the holes to accommodate the precise measurements of my filament from Aleph Objects, Inc. which is indeed 2.90mm in diameter.
