Filament Dryer based on the Salton VitaPro food dehydrator available from Canadian Tire Product #043-0656-8. Note: this is only cost effective if you purchase the dehydrator when it is on sale, otherwise better off purchasing the commercially available filament dryer that can handle two rolls of filament. Requires swivel from Home Depot (Richelieu UC3312) for the mounting holes to match (65mm hole to hole) https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.swivel-3x3-30kg.1000401600.html Feed through for the filament is designed for a PC4-M6 Pneumatic fitting. Attach Spool Base to swivel bearing with four M3x10mm button head bolts and nuts. Attach swivel bearing to the two base mount parts with M4x14mm to M4x16mm button head or round head bolts and nuts. Cap head screws will interfere with the M3 bolts. The bottom tray is used to mount the swivel to. Need to drill four M4 holes to match the base mount parts. Need to cut out the insides (grilled areas) of the top four trays. Smooth over cuts with a file. I used silicon to adhere all five trays together, with the trays stacked in the extended positions Once the silicone was set, then used silicone to seal the joints between the trays. Drill an 8mm hole through the side of one of the trays for the pneumatic fitting. Ensure the hole is in the middle (vertically) of the bottom portion of one of the trays. This will ensure room to mount the feed through fitting. The feed through mount will need to be drilled out with a 5mm drill bit as it will print under sized, then tapped with an M6-1.0mm tap. Do not need to run the whole tap through, just enough to get the threads cut all the way through. This will act as a nut for the pneumatic fitting.
