The 3D printer filament dryers seem overpriced, so I bought something that looked identical, and had the same specs, except for the filament tray. I cut the centre out of 3 trays instead of printing a new whole tray, and made a clip to hold 3 trays together. The clip holds very well. I did order some extra trays so we could still use it as a food dehydrator. Dual purpose! It's a Salton VitaPro model DH1454. it has temperature control which, I am told, is key for good filament drying. ( It was less than half the price on Amazon of a purpose built filament dryer, and looks to be identical.) I did notice a difference. My prints stick together much better after drying the filament. I also made a filament box that you can feed from for the printer so I can leave a spool in the printer and not worry about it. I looked at a few designs on thingiverse, and then found some stuff I had at home to make it.
