Avoid extruder starvation from tight loops by drilling 10mm holes on either side of your spool rod. Insert a guide and feed the filament through, ensuring it passes via the rectangular hole. This modification is compatible with the Quick change spool holder (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:98893). Additionally, print a raft with an integrated removable cross brace to prevent curling and warping during printing - simply break off this part once finished.
