I relocated my printer, so I needed to link the spool directly to the device, which led me to customize my own spool hub on-site. The revised setup is designed to accommodate two ball bearings (available online at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006KT1B80/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ), after which I fit a section of standard 1/2" EMT conduit on top.
