I always hate the normal supports for the Filament rolls on the tabel.. So I construct in 2 min this little arm that keeps the Roll in position. This ist for a 2.1 Frame of the P3 Steel. But u only need a little hole 2 fix this arm. The hole in the arm has 55mm dimension, so a tube with 53mm dimension will fit quite well. U dont need any bearings. Cause SolidWorks has an easy way 2 draw the threads, I added some M12 threads into the part. But u have 2 trim those Threads after the Printing a little bit for easy use. U need for the fixation a Bolt M12x20 or 30. I use a DIN7991 M12x20 Countersunk Bolt. Therefore i made a litte plate where it can sit in. The Bolt on the Top of the Arm is just for the case u use Filament Rolls with a smaller hole. The maximum high of the Arm is about 195mm. So Check if u can print it. The Tube for holding the Roll is 150mm long . U can make it longer if u like. Just draw a tube with 53mm outer perimeter and maybe 3mm wall. This should be enough 2 hold anything ;-). added a fixation for a table with 18mm gap. works fine for me 2 Print Settings Printer: P3 Steel Toolson Edition Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0,2mm Infill: 20% didn`t test lower settings Notes: Printed with PETG but every other material would work as well. Except of Flex ;-) Cause of the high of the objects u must be ensure that it will keep on the bed. Maybe u need Rafts. U might need a little bit of support for the big hole . The bridge at the top is not easy. But this is a position u cant see and u can just repair it with a knife and some sandpaper.
