<p>I always search too much for a hole around the spool to park my filament.</p><p>I really like the Prusament approach with a tons of honey hexagons, they provide a lot of holes to park your filament.</p><p>I thought I'd design a similar detachable ring that would fit most of the spools. In my case, it fits them all and I have Premium, PolyTerra, Prusament and the spool that came with the Prusa i3, they all fit.</p><p>I only need one kit per spool. Keep the ring outward, as the filament could grab the clip inside and jam.</p><p>PRINT INSTRUCTIONS</p><p>I used the stock profiles, 0.2 layer height and I printed 4 clips. Prints in 2 hours.</p><p>Post-Scriptum: I had the clip fail on me several times, so I redesigned it stronger. Extra-Option-StrongClip.stl</p>
