Filament Rack (with Bearings)

Filament Rack (with Bearings)

thingiverse

A simple yet functional filament rack. It gives you storage, while at the same time being able to use the filaments. It removes the weight of the spool from your printer and clears your work area. The spools sit 'in' the ridged bearings, allowing them to turn freely as the printer uses the filament. You'll need 4 bearings for each spool you want to hold. They slide up and down the rail with a little force, allowing you to move them to suit different sized spools. The design uses a 19mm curtain pole. You'll need two lengths the same. you can make them as long or as short as you like. The bearings are 3D printed and print as one item. They use 6mm BB's as the balls. (14 BB's per bearing). (V1 and V2 were my own inerations.V3 works well)
