This time it will clip right on to the NEMA17 extruder motor of a Cocoon Create Touch and Wanhao i3 duplicator plus. * Rev1: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3785976 - This one mount to the top of the printer instead. ---------- # Configuration that worked for me in doing filament change in octoprint https://www.reddit.com/r/wanhaoi3/comments/gi7tqy/configuration_that_worked_for_me_in_doing/ ## Requirements: * https://github.com/andrivet/ADVi3pp installed to touchscreen and marlin board * Octoprint installed and configured to a Cocoon Create Touch or Wanhao i3 Plus printer * https://github.com/kontakt/Octoprint-Filament-Reloaded plugin installed * Cheap ebay filament switch ## Filament Reloaded Plugin Settings that worked for me: * Pin : 7 * Debounce Time: 500ms * Switch Type: Normally Open * Board Pin Mode: Board Mode * Gcode: `M600 X0 Y0` * Pause Print is unticked ADVi3pp is required for M600 gcode command support for smart filament change. Board mode is based on "raspberry pi pinout" that you can easily google yourself. High debounce time since physical switches can be a little unreliable. Untick pause print since the special command already does it for you. ## Checking that it works Go to `http://octopi.local/plugin/filamentreload/status` and check that you can see `{"status":"1"}` on each refresh. ## Warn: Colour code of the cheap ebay filament sensor is counter intutative. Don't assume.
