If the Mk7 only supports 1.75mm then what to do with all the 3mm! Well if someone has the time (which I don't) to actually put this concept into a form of a real working converter then go ahead. Instructions It fits on top of an mk7 and heats up with PCB heaters between three layers of metal between to melt the plastic.
