I was looking around for a good filament clip and did test prints of many on this site. The one by Luminerd (891394) worked the best, but I had to modify a few things: 1. Changed the extruded length from 5mm to 10mm. The 5mm clips pivoted too much on the spool and didn't stay on as well. 2. Adjusted the profiles to suit Australian PLA and Ultimaker spools (purchase for Imaginables Australia). I can confirm that the 2.85mm holes hold the filament well. Reportedly for the 1.75mm holes you need a good print quality for it to work.
