DO NOT PRINT THIS. AFTER A YEAR IN USE THE SPOOL HOLDERS ARE NO LONGER HOLDING. TOO MUCH WEIGHT. i WILL REDESIGN AND POST BUT UNTIL THEN, DO NOT PRINT OR USE THESE.SORRY, I CAN'T DON'T SEE AN EASY WAY TO DELETE THE POST. Unclutter your shelves with a Filament Spool Rack. This design holds most spool sizes from about 150mm. The spools in my photo are all 200mm. Sorry, you'll have to store your Taulman 1 pound spools elsewhere. There is not a lot of magic here - I used 3/4" Schedule 40 PVC pipe for the rails. Cut to length and print enough brackets for that length. I used 16 inch spacing for my installation. I think that is a good separation where the weight of the spools will not cause the PVC to sag. I'll let you figure out the best method for screwing the brackets to the wall. The end caps are designed for the Schedule 40 PVC. Schedule 80 PVC has a thicker wall and I did not have any on hand for measurements and to assure a proper fit. If you want to use Schedule 80 leave me a note with dimensions (O.D and I.D) and I will add an end cap. The 'ID Tag' is meant to hang in front of the spool the filament. Mark the filament type using a 'sharpie', label or whatever on the front of the tag. Clip it to the PVC pipe to show you what is on the spool.
