I wasn't really happy with the Filament spool holder of Prusa's MMU upgrade kit. Also version 2 is not really good for me. The bearing aluminium axles move sideways (the o-rings do not really help a lot) and what was not ideal was the tangling of the filament into the hotend cable mesh. So I designed something new. Here we go: All metal parts were ordered from Aliexpress. All links / costs are provided in the bill of material list included. The other required parts were printed in PLA with 20-30% infill. Add on: ** I realised when building the frame, that the 200mm length of the profile was just marginal. Infact it would be better to use 205mm length. Since 200mm is available easier, I added some additional spacer parts of 5mm at the rear end. For a new frame I would try to order 205mm directly - maybe via Aliexpress it will be possible with a custom length.
