Filament Swatch Re-Remix

Filament Swatch Re-Remix

thingiverse

This is a new version of the Filament Swatch Remix I made with some updated mini torture tests and thought to share here too. Make a filament swatch and see how your printer handles the filament. I really liked the Filament Swatch Remix, but there were some minor things I felt needed tweaking (e.g. the sphere shape which doesn't seem to slice properly). Since that one is a SketchUp file I basically redrew the Filament Swatch from scratch in Fusion360, adding my own touch. Physical size is exactly the same as the swatch I based this on, so this one should still fit the existing boxes and storage containters on Thingiverse. Features: - Thickness/transparency test - Overhang test - Gaps test - Wall thickness test - Hole diameter test - M3 screw size hole - Posts diameter test which doubles as stringing test - Sharp inside and outside corners test - A smooth feature - A slope feature - The grip features on the side double as bed adhesion test. It now also fits another swatch next to it as a tolerance test or just good for fidgeting with them :) Off course these torture tests aren't up to it compared to a real torture test, but should at least give some indication. The ideal print layer height is 0.1mm but 0.2mm also works nice. I honestly usually use 0.2mm. For true transparency test use 100% infill. If not important, I print with 15% honeycomb.
