Filament Welding/Splicing Fixture (print-in-place, fully assembled)

I wanted a simple print-in-place jig to hold my filament steady for welding. Most of the designs on here use screws to hold the clamp together, but the plastic will strip out over time. This design is an easy print for most printers, and will be ready-to-use fresh off the print bed. For welding, I recommend a soldering iron with temperature control, set to the ideal printing temperature of your filament. Just cut the ends of your filament at a 45° angle and line them up in the grooves. Cover the tip of the soldering iron with aluminum foil and carefully melt the ends of your filament together. This is the iron I use: https://smile.amazon.com/Soldering-Station-392%E2%84%89-896%E2%84%89-Adjustable-Temperature/dp/B09LH46XX6?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1 EDIT: (8/3/22) I uploaded a revised .stl with the correct scale, as the original was scaled for mm instead of inches.
