Filamenthalter
thingiverse
My last filament roller is a great thing, but it's not perfect yet. This version offers two significant advantages: 1. Space-Saving Design: When multiple filament rollers are used in tandem, they require less space due to their nested arrangement. 2. Repurposing Components: If your Prusa Printer features an MMU2S module, you can reuse the ball bearings from the filament roller, which are also integral components of the MMU2S. 3. Simplified Assembly: You only need the printed parts and the 608ZZ 8x22x7 bearings to assemble the filament roller. 4. Two Variations Available: Version 1: Suitable for masterspools with "Das Filament" or small filamentspools up to 60mm in width. Version 2: Compatible with filamentspools up to 83mm in width. The latest features of this design include: No tools, no screws, no shafts, and no threaded rods are required for assembly. The roller can be securely fastened to any surface it stands on. A simple mechanism allows you to secure the end of the filament. The large rollers enable smooth rolling of the filament. Only three parts need to be printed.
