This is a filter for ash vacuum cleaner. The filter can be attached to any 36 mm diameter vacuum cleaner. I use the Stayler BC1200D. The filter prevents the vacuum cleaner from getting stuck with the pieces of carbon remaining between the ashes. These pieces of charcoal are useful for lighting the next fire.
