Fin Alignment Jigs for Model Rockets

Fin Alignment Jigs for Model Rockets

thingiverse

These are my fin alignment jigs for model rockets. There are many like them, but these are mine. Uploaded here is the OpenSCAD source for these, enabling the Customizer to be used to create jigs according to your own parameters. A collection of pre-generated jigs are also included here. Of these there are 'hi' and 'lo' versions. The 'lo" versions correspond to a 0.5mm tolerance. This is a normal buffer for 3D printing interlocking components. However, these pieces are typically interacting with higher precision cardboard and wood components. So the 'hi' version, generated with 0.25mm accuracy, fits more tightly. These should be used if possible.
