Finger Splint

Finger Splint

A finger splint I made for my ruptured finger joint capsule, a modular rail system was added for fun but so far I only made a joint/cigarette holer and a rail cover for it. On the version with holes (added for airflow so you don't sweat in your splint) you should set the wall thickness lower than usual, in my case 0.4mm which is 1 wall line with my extruder, infill needs to be 100% Once printed just gently fold both sides in to about 50 degrees depending on finger size and use elastic straps from a mask to tie the splint to your finger. If you knot it properly you should be able to easily remove the splint and put it back on, which comes in handy for washing your hands. Best versions are V5 for solid and V8 for perforated, if you don't want the rail at all go for V2 .
