Very early work, please don't even think about printing! I'll keep updating as I add more detail. The intention is the final thing will print in lots of different parts and clip/glue together just like my Thunderbird 1. If you want to play with the code, see all the other libraries listed and stick them in your library path. The URLs are at the top of FF.scad Update: 2017-06-03 - added tail centre pod and engine supports. Update 2017-06-04 - added engines. I didn't even use any splines! Update 2017-06-05 - improved engines and fixed some odd rendering issues. Update 2017-06-05 - added canard wings. More spliny goodness. Update 2017-06-06 - added engine winglets, fixed centre pod, tweaked canard/body interface, some code cleanups. Update 2017-06-10 - added "fin" coming forwards from the bridge, cleaned up code more to avoid self intersections and to split to separate files. No source upload for this lot as I'm still beating on it all and I also had to hack some libraries. Update: 2017-07-02 - added wings and pods, fixed all CGAL errors, added slicing for printing to FF_Tail but still lots to do. Also tweaked pretty much every part of the design to get it to better match the "real thing", and added ability to select a fixed camera view to make matching to pictures easier. Split BaseBody to separate file. Update: 2017-07-16 - added detail to engines, printed tail+pod+engines but have now changed how the pod sits on the bridge so all changed and being redone. She's starting to look good! Update: 2017-07-20 - added pictures of a test print of tail with new splitting, and there is also a body "fragment" tacked on. Very happy with how it looks and will upload new source and STLs in a few days. Next job is slice engine winglets, add detail to tail, and start to design wing hinges. Update: 2017-08-01 - Sliced winglets, added text to tail, printed new parts, and picture uploaded. Will upload new source once text tested. Update: 2017-08-11 - Added more detail to tail and added cockpit windows. New source and STLs uploaded. I haven't printed new bits yet so no pictures. Update: 2017-09-09 Body and wings now all sliced, so starting on some test prints as I slowly add fixing pegs and update the make file.
