This Thing can be used to make your own climbing skins for use on Fischer skies with the EZ clip design. I had some skin material that I cut down to 50mm wide. The ends are looped thru the tailpiece and the clip piece. The skin adhesive holds it all together just fine. Be sure to adjust the skins so that they are pretty close the final length. It works best if after printing you warm up the front clip with a. heat gun and bend it into roughly the shape it will be when on the ski. See the image of the bend clip. The tailpiece has small sides that keep the skin in place on sidehills. I used Matterhackers NylonX and it's tough and has held up fine so far. I find that the best way to put the skins on is to 1) Place the clip piece through the ski and into the clip. Pull back to engage into clip. 2) Bend the ski and pull the tailpiece over the end of the ski.
