The Purpose: By utilizing bio mass filtration through semi-separated aquatic zones a true universal and hassle free aquaponic environment can be obtained. Through the symbiotic nature of plant and aquatic life, the work/ cost of raising a fish and small herbs/ vegetation may be accomplished at a fraction of the effort/ cost. With the addition of a timed fish feeder, the Desktop Aquaponics system becomes truly hassle free system. All done, while serving its purpose as an interesting conversation piece and means meditation aid. How it Works: Parametrically design allows aquaponics system to be implemented to any size vase. A small air pump is used to both oxygenate and circulate the water via the air lift. Dirt water containing aquatic waste is filtered via bio mass provided in the separate chamber above the aquatic zone. Fresh filtered water is recirculated into the main receiver via gravity filtration from the "Bio Mass Zone" to the "Aquatic Life Zone."
