We still have a 1994 Fisher Price Pirate Ship play set. My grandson LOVES it and so does his dad. Both my son and my son-in-law had this as a child. But the grappling hook was broke. So, I reverse engineered one from the broken pieces as best I could. I made this in two parts, the plunger and the hook. The plunger should print laying down because there is no way the layer lines will hold up. So it needs support under it. The hook was printed in TPU so it will hold up better to the tortures of a 3 year old. I also redesigned it V3 with a thicker center section so it can be printed in PLA with a brim and support. After printing, Superglue the plunger flush with the top of the hook body (or all the way in on V3) Update 9/28/2021: Since I had the plunger part as a separate print, I made some different heads for it and a holder block to keep them neat.
