Due to the cost of fishing lures today we have introduced a design that will work with sea and fresh water - and is printable to all the sizes you might want to use. You can paint and gloss finish these lures with as many as 64 million colours – whatever is right for the day - or you can print a box full and paint them all differently. This lure is designed to have a crimped wire through the middle to hold the hooks and beads and feathers whatever you want to add. The action is obviously spinning and if it is jerked acts as a wounded fish. This is a great way to save a small fortune and a lure that you can enjoy customizing and making it your own. Advisory: We use PLA as it is strong enough. We print at 100 percent infill. We use a raft and support from the hot plate only – i.e. not a full support or it will fill the holes. Any kind of paint can be used and super glue is fine. Clear epoxy coat is a nice finish or nail varnish with sparkly added - as seen in the photo. You can print this lure any size to target the species you are fishing for. And yes it is FUN to use and very adaptable to your choice of finishing.
