<p>This is the basic fishing V front rod rest. It's made out 2 parts - rod rest with hexagonal hole and threaded insert that's glued into the hole. Thread is BSF 3/8 which is standart for fishing poles.</p><p>If you face some problems I recommend printing both pieces separately so thread is nice and smooth with print setting bellow.</p><p>Material should be for outdoor use. I used PETG. I recommend 0,2mm QUALITY profile in PrusaSlicer</p><p><strong>Print recommendation:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Rod rest</p><ul><li>supports: yes</li><li>nozzle and layer height - doesn't matter. I used 0,4mm nozzle and 0,2mm height</li><li>perimeters: 3</li><li>Infill: 25%</li><li>print orientation: flat</li></ul><p>Threaded insert</p><ul><li>supports: no</li><li>nozzle: 0,4mm</li><li>layer height: 0,2mm is Ok. I recommend 0,15mm height</li><li>perimeters: 3</li><li>Infill: 25%</li><li>print orientation: standing</li><li>brim: I recommend 2mm</li></ul>
