An adapter to change a standard ring style fishing whip tip, to a quick release clip system. printed in ABS, +3% axis increase, 0.1mm layer height, 0.2mm nozzle, 20mm/s with supports. print in supplied orientation (horizontal layers needed for clip strength). I'm not sure how this will turn out with a 0.4mm nozzle but feel free to give it a try. simply print out and clean up, carefully work the main clip with a flat needle file until the ring can be slid on but still remains fairly tight. gently work the ring tip of the whip into the adapter (it's a fairly snug fit and will require some patience). slide the ring off the clip. using a drill bit or some other small round object open up the holes on the side until a piece of filament can be pushed all the way through with pliers (it should be very tight. clip off the filament as flush as possible and file flat. slide the ring back in place and you're good to go.
