This fix ring boasts a sturdy base with a diameter of 60mm, perfect for securing ropes or chains. I've deliberately designed it as a two-part print to ensure the ring portion can be printed horizontally, allowing print lines to circulate around the loop and significantly boost its strength. Please refer to the Cura screenshot for optimal printing alignment. When printing this design, use supports but opt for 100% concentric infill lines to maximize durability. You may need to experiment with support density and spacing to maintain complete symmetry in the ring. PLA is a suitable material that yields impressive results, providing strength and stability; however, its longevity might be compromised when exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods. To enhance its resilience, consider coating it with a white or silver spray to provide adequate protection. Two distinct base options are included: one features a 0.4mm gap between the two components, while the other boasts a 0.5mm clearance. The ring portion remains consistent across both designs.
