Tool to lock your control surfaces, allowing mechanical trim to be set without needing any additional tools, or redoing your work. I find it especially handy for elevon controlled wings. How to use: Print in stiff material (ABS is what I use) M3 nut and bolt for locking Stick double sided tape to the flat side ** I tend to carry out this trim after the days flying, so it is perfect for next time ** - Trim your model to your desired speed (some trim perfect at high speed and require extra input at low speed or vice versa) - With your model powered up, with no stabilisation on, stick the trim tool to the model as pictured and then tighten up the bolt to lock the surface - Remove the control rod as pictured, so the control surface is now just locked by the tool. - Now the trims can be put back to zero and the rods length adjusted until they easily clip in to the control horn. - Remove the trim tool! Done, happy flying!
