I struggled to get the portal properly aligned. Unable to find a suitable reference point, I decided to create two models instead. The one on the shaft wasn't tested due to my busy schedule. To successfully align the portal, follow these steps: First, enable auto-home and then raise the portal to at least 80mm or more. Next, secure all necessary parts in place and drop the portal down to 15mm with a gentle click. Raise it again, remove any excess material, and repeat as needed. I hope this explanation is clear. This model works best with PLA filament. However, for ABS, use version 1.03 or later. To achieve accurate alignment on glass surfaces, use sandpaper to smooth both parts down to within 0.05mm of each other.
