This is a small fixture plate which can be used to make any number of simple jigs and fixtures. I probably wouldn't use this to hold a part for machining, but it would be great for a drill press or assembly application. The bottom half of the hole is the correct size to be tapped 1/4-20, the top half of the hole is sized for a 1/4" dowel pin. This project was inspired by the Saunders Machine Works fixture plates, if you need a fixture plate for machining, they are the best source.
