A flash-American television series broadcast by The CW and developed by Greg Berlanti, Andrew Kreisberg and Jeff Jones. Based on the DC Comics superhero known as the Flash (Barry Allen), which was created by Robert Knierim, John Broome and Carmine Infantino. The plot is a spin-off of the series Arrow and takes place in the same universe. The premiere of the pilot episode took place on October 7, 2014 with record ratings for the channel. On October 21, 2014, after only two episodes, the series was extended for a full season. On January 11, 2015, the channel extended the series for a second season, which started on October 6, 2015. On March 11, 2016, the series was extended for a third season. On January 8, 2017, the series was extended for a fourth season. On April 2, 2018, the series was extended for a fifth season. On February 1, 2019, the series was extended for a sixth season. On February 4, it was officially announced that the Flash from the TV series will appear in the series Supergirl. Crossover took place on March 28. And November 28, 2016 held a crossover, which was attended by a Supergirl, Green arrow and Legends. Together they resisted the Dominators (the aliens)
