Flash Stand

Flash Stand

I loved Walter's original version, but my Nissin i40 flash was just a bit too tight to slide onto the rails. I redrew Walter's design as close as possible in AutoCAD so that I could reduce the thickness of the slide-on rails (to 1.4mm), and this fits my flash gun much better. I also took the opportunity to remove the overhanging 'bridge' section so that the whole thing prints without any support, provided it's printed face-down. I printed it in PLA with 100% infill and it is perfectly strong enough without the bridge section.
