Using a corrugated electrician tube for my filament, I've always had some difficulties in actually getting the filament into the extruder without it breaking ever so often and without humidity getting into the tube, making the filament more brittle. So I've used itech3dp 's incredibly useful extruder cover design to make a screwed-in support that fits on top on some of flashforge printers, using the holes that keep the actual extruder cover to fit tightly and precisely. THE SCREWS THAT COME WITH THE PRINTER UNFORTUNATELY AREN'T LONG ENOUGH, YOU WILL NEED TO BUY SOME OF THE SAME TYPE TO REPLACE THEM. SEE IMAGE FOR DIMENSIONS (flashforge finder tested) Since itech3dp 's design is made to fit on: Finder, Guider, Guider 2, Guider 2s and Inventor 2, I'm guessing this model should also fit as well, and of course on the very same cover he designed, too. The corrugated tube I use is 20 mm in diameter at the largest and 17 mm at the minum, and the model is designed to have the tube inserted and "stuck" in the small lip I've put, yet it should have enough room to rotate freely on itself during the extruder's movements. I can see that it's not ideal in cases of filament running out or breaking, but so far I think it really helps in preventing wasting considerable amounts of filament due to humidity and sudden movements.
