Flashforge Creator Corner Block - Case Upgrades

This is a remix from thruit00's design, I made the following changes: 1) modified a number of measures so as to fit Flashforge Creator ( 1st generation, wooden case) . The original open source 3D model of the makerbot replicator does not really help unless you are lucky because the clones are changed here and there without any documents... It is like solving a 3D puzzle to get this right, the corner is tricky to measure by hand and to reason the design. 2) strengthened the screws hole base to 2mm and leaved it solid, so you need to drill 3mm hole by yourself after printing. In that way the holes are more precise. Drilling the hole is very easy, it is only 2mm 3) If you are using Flashforge Creator (if it another similar model, measure carefully before printing), print the first piece), print the first piece, try if it fits well, if Yes then print the other 3 together in 1 print (will save about 1.5 hours) Original Summary from thruit00's design: This corners fit to the black CTC (dual) printer. Because CTC changed their laser cut artwork for the case parts several times. This corners fit to the version where the lowest side panel screws are located 25mm above the table where it stands on. This corners are easy to attach. You just have to open 2 screws of the side panel and fix the corners with the same screws again. Benefit: Now you only need side and front windows + a hood to be ready for ABS prints. The whole printer gets more stable because these corners support the printer framevery well. this corners don't touch/influence the drive linkage Instructions You need 2 of each kind. If you don't turn the corners to another side you can directly print them without raft or support. They are not easy to print and your profiles have to match your used fillament and printer perfectly - because there are a some overhangs and sharp edges and combinations out of it. I printed them in ABS and PLA with different infill densities. very well. For low infill rates use more shells to make sure the screws have enought material underneath. But if you made it and it looks good you have well tweaked profiles and beautiful corners on your printer ;-)
