Like many others, I ordered some Hatchbox filament for my Flashforge Creator Pro and discovered that the spool didn't fit the factory spool holder. Diameter was good, but the factory recessed hub in the spool stumped me. I found several designs here on Thingiverse, but didn't want to print a whole new spool holder. I wanted something super simple that I could add onto the existing spool holder and quickly/easily use both types of spool designs. I attached this little adapter to the existing spool holder using four #6 stainless steel sheet metal screws. Gravity holds the retainer pin in place.
