Flashforge/CTC Control Enclosure
thingiverse
I've been eager to shed the conventional front panel for a while now. However, I also don't want to have controls permanently fixed to the machine's face. What if I wanted to relocate the display in front of my webcam? Or, what if I preferred not to get up every time I needed to start a print or alter settings?\nFor these challenges and more, I designed an innovative enclosure specifically for our printer's LCD, buttons, and SD card reader.\nThis new design prints wonderfully - sometimes even both components without supports. The back side is definitively free from supports/rafts. Although the front side should also be support/raft-free, I found that the outcome is up to interpretation with my machine performing a bridge connection over the SD card slot with no issue at all, yet. Still in progress is a secure snap mechanism.\nPrint Settings\nRafts: No Raft Needed\nSupports: Doesn't Matter for This Setup
