IF you choose to remove your Guider 2 or 2S extruder housing to assist in heat dissipation for the stepper motor then normally the tube would weigh on the filament when entering the stepper motor pert of the extruder, this causes strain on the filament and sometime causes the filament to bend and break. When the bracket or support is added to the 1 screw hole it will support and guide the extruder tube so the forces do not interfere with the filament. PLA was used.
