FlashForge Nozzle Light V2
thingiverse
This is version 2 of my nozzle light, utilizing two 12-volt LED strip segments wired in series directly to the 24-volt supply via a 100-milliampere fuse. The front and rear LEDs illuminate the area beneath the nozzle, allowing for clear visibility of the layers being printed. The rear strip holders are narrow to avoid snagging on the rear Z-axis guides. These holders are designed to clip onto the nozzle carriage without requiring any permanent modifications. **Required Components:** 1. 2 x LED Segments - I sourced these from a roll purchased online, specifically "Super Bright White LED Strip Light Waterproof 5m 12V 5050 SMD Flexible 300LED". 2. In-line fuse holder. 3. Hook-up Wire. 4. 2 x 2 Pin connectors (optional) to facilitate easy removal; I used Jaycar PT4452. **Important:** Ensure the two LEDs are wired in series, not parallel, as the supply is 24-volt and the LEDs operate at 12-volts.
