I upgraded my build plate to a piece of 3/16" Heat-Resistant Borosilicate Glass which I picked up from McMaster-Carr. http://www.mcmaster.com/#catalog/119/3616/=oxuu1g Print using 100% infill using ABS. You'll also need longer machine screws to account for the added depth of the corners. Adjust to hold the plate firmly, with the longer of the two corners on the front of the build plate. This gives you the added bonus of more overhang during your printers first extrusion test at the start of jobs. Also look at the Modified Z-Stage Back Plate to allow for the added thickness of the borosilicate plate without having to adjust your Z end stop. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:165960
