A next step in my lantern diffuser project, built on the same architectural foundation as my D4/D4S diffusers but tailored for the significantly more floody D18. This focuses on top-up or top-down usage, casts light downwards and around like a true lantern, and strives to be more compact. The Mk2 AIO version is now available, with a 2-piece model in development that will enable the removal of the central reflector while preserving light-throwing capability. I can confirm that up to the maximum regulated output, PLA remains safe temperature-wise. Use at your own discretion beyond Hybrid mode, and Turbo would undoubtedly cause some materials to melt within a minute.
