Flashlight/Torch/Wall Mount or Closet Light

First attempt at a flashlight/torch holder. The initial idea was to have a storage solution because the shelf in this closet is the wire variety and the flashlight is always precariously stored. After I mounted it I realized this also doubles as a closet light (see last photo). Things I would do differently: Perhaps I could have gotten away with a slightly shorter design with thicker walls. A thicker mounting tab where the screw hole is placed. Position the screw lower because with my torch, the head comes in contact with the screw.
