As part of my Bowden upgrade. Pieces need to be made! This is a flat laying filament reel. Slightly wobbly when your shaking the table but otherwise super smooth almost zero effort turning. The adapter for the spool stands at 53mm inner diameter. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Geeetech Prusa i3 Aluminium Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 25% Notes: This uses a 608 Scooter bearing as you can see in the pic. I suggest a reasonable infill 25-30% as this will not be under any strain. The "legs" of the base can be easily warped to suit your needs, in my case I formed them into a very slight dome, so they fit the surface neatly. (you do this by heating it up with a hair dryer (if PLA)). The hole sizes may need some sanding down to suit your friction needs.
