Flat Bendable Canopy + Accessories

Over the past few months I’ve been flying a 3” 115mm size toothpick. I like it because it’s fairly quiet and discreet. I’m determined to get the best flight characteristics from this size - that means every gram counts. I’ve tried to integrate multiple uses for certain components - in turn reducing weight. As of January 2021, I don’t find many examples of canopy designs that print completely flat in TPU and can be folded or bend to shape? This is my Flat Bendable Canopy concept for the HX115 frame or any other whoop (26.5 x 26.5) mounting frame. Personally, I think it turned out pretty well, as the responsiveness is definitely improved because of the weight decrease from a standard canopy. The canopy weighs 2g and prints in 30 minutes at 40mms. No supports, no long print times. It works as a canopy, vtx support, vibration dampening and adjustable camera mount. It was designed to fit 14mm micro cameras like the Caddx Turbo or Ant. (It also fits the Caddx Loris HD camera but adds a bit more weight.) I also designed a 3S battery mount that acts as a skid and balance holder as well. The battery mount and antenna protector both print completely flat, too. The FPV dry weight is 75g, AUW is 117g and the HD is 84/125g. UPDATE: 01/07/2021 GNB-3S-Battery-v2.stl - Includes slot for 20x10mm engraved info plate. Tighter fit.
