Flat Bottomed Adjustable Z-Sliders

These are a Remix of the fantastic C4 Sliders, originally conceived and published by none other than C4, known on Thingiverse as chasgiv4. This version is mostly the same except the heatset insert is recessed so the head of the screw on its bottom won't hit anything in the bottom of the Promega. Use this modification at your own risk! For instructions on installation to the machine, read further about the C4 Slider and/or replacing Z-sliders within M3D's documentation. Each slider was made to use 16mm long countersunk screws and M3-.05 heatset inserts (6.4mm long) - be careful not to melt plastic accidentally setting it in the recess. The plungers are also slightly modified from the original version and may require sanding to fit into the tight hole. You can also use a cutting board and an Exacto to 'shave' the bottom of the plunger if all of them are too tight. This is especially true if using a .5mm nozzle and not having thin wall settings configured! You may also wish to use a flat bladed screwdriver or knife on the hole to ensure the deepest recess for the plunger is clear of blobs or strings that may keep the plunger sticking up even when the screw is backed out. The plunger should fit and fall under its own weight without extra space. I used the Large or Medium size, but that will depend on tolerance/how the slider prints. Loose is not ideal. Also consider printing the adjustable latches available on C4's original posting! Hope these are helpful - they are designed for use with the Z-Belt Tensioning Rail Feet for the Promega available here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3351573 *notes* - You shouldn't need a back right adjustable slider, but if you do it's the same as the FrontLeft
