I needed a tripod that would allow me to take macro shots of flowers. Since I couldn't find any model/tripod that suits my needs I decided to create it by myself. The design is super simple, yet quite useful. You have a 3-legged flat base and threaded pins you can use to level your camera. There are also spike and hemisphere caps you can screw on. Spikes will be useful if you are going to use this tripod outside, whereas hemispheres where designs to be used on a hard surface.

All the parts except one can be printed with any material you want. Part 'rubber' should be printed with a rubber filament and glued to the base part. You will also need a camera screw (18mm long).

Tripod is rather small. I'm using it with Sony A6300 and Laowa 65mm. Have not tested it with any other camera. I think it will fit a small mirrorless camera. FF and DSLRs might be too big.

Print Settings

Printer Brand:

Prusa

Printer:

Mk2.5s

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2

Infill:

15%

Filament: Colorfil PLA

Category: Camera
