<p>This interactive, educational toy is intended to spread a vital message and encourage people to take action towards limiting strain on healthcare systems.</p> <p>After many iterations (showcased below), we landed on the following design which incorporates print-in-place rollers which guide the belt freely as the knob is turned.</p> <p>Given current restrictions, we collaboratively designed this product entirely virtually with the help of Onshape and Zoom.</p> <p>Here is a video of the product in action: <a href="https://youtu.be/mQ3olnvcKXQ">https://youtu.be/mQ3olnvcKXQ</a></p> <p>We hope you enjoy our submission to the Prusa 3D design contest.</p> <p>Jake and Teddy</p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p>This part is designed to print quickly without support material. 200 micron layer height was used for all parts. Print the belt in TPU, and the casing, cover, and knob in rigid plastic.</p> <p>The print in place rollers are designed with generous tolerances to accommodate all printers. Be sure to free them up after printing and ensure they spin freely.</p> <p>After printing all 4 parts, assemble as showcased in exploded view. No fasteners or glue are necessary. Pull on the belt to reset the the curve.</p>
