Flex Wallet

Flex Wallet

thingiverse

I know lots of other people on here have designed wallets to be printed with flexible filaments, but none of them were quite what I was looking for, so a while back I made my own. Most wallets I saw just allowed room for one card in each pocket, for example (I have waaaaay too many cards for that nonsense), so I designed one with wider pockets to allow it to flex more, to hold more cards. I also designed a built-in support system, which should keep it from flexing too much side-to-side while printing. I tended to get banding from the nozzle dragging on the filament as it was printing, so I added those 'towers' which are wide enough to stabilize that back-and-forth motion. Those will need to be cut away after printing. Don't try to tear them off, they will leave nasty marks if you do! Also there are connections between the 'flaps' of the wallet, as well, which are there for the same reason, and those will need to be cut off too. Hopefully this design can help somebody else, it's been serving me pretty well so far! I also uploaded a f3d file which should allow people to edit it in Fusion 360 (you can add your own designs to the sides of the wallet, which is what I did with mine).
